About the position

The CSS Phone Specialist is responsible for managing incoming calls and addressing complex consumer concerns effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, a consumer-focused approach, and the ability to provide appropriate solutions. The specialist must document company records accurately and adhere to high call quality standards while using proprietary systems and multitasking effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to high volume of inbound calls.
  • Understand and process written consumer documentation as needed to resolve consumer issues.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may be a risk to the company.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years customer service or clerical experience required.
  • Experience with MS Office is required.
  • Good communication skills and data entry experience are required.
  • 2+ years work experience in financial services related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDCAPA, FCRA or other regulatory training is preferred.
