About the position

The Public Administration Analyst - Clinical Research role at Ampcus, Inc. involves overseeing and managing budgetary amendment research activities within the Clinical Research Unit. The position requires collaboration with senior management and industry partners to ensure timely execution of budget and contract amendments for active clinical trials. The analyst will work independently while adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines, and will be responsible for coordinating submissions and maintaining study-specific financial documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage budgetary amendment research activities for the Clinical Research Unit.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Principal Investigator, Senior Management, study team, and sponsors regarding budgetary and contractual amendments.
  • Prepare and complete submissions to initiate budget/contract amendments for execution with input from the Principal Investigator and study team.
  • Negotiate budgets with sponsors in a timely manner and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit internal financial documents to ensure contract execution upon budget finalization.
  • Maintain study-specific financial files with all appropriate documentation.
  • Coordinate timing of budget negotiations with IRB submissions and Beacon build updates.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience in budget negotiations in clinical research.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of current medical terminology specific to oncology.
