About the position

RMGS, Inc. is currently seeking a Public Affairs Graphic Designer to join our team in Coronado, California. This position is contingent upon contract award and is designed for individuals who are passionate about graphic design and communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing graphics, communications, and visual media services that align with our mission of delivering high-quality security-related training and advisory services to the U.S. Government and allied nations. In this role, you will prepare and develop graphics using various design software programs, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Muse, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign. You will ensure that all communication products comply with copyright laws, the AP Style Guide, and industry standards. Your creativity will be essential as you conduct research and collect relevant content to create graphics for a variety of products, including brochures, posters, flyers, business cards, photographs, websites, briefs, and social media platforms. Additionally, you will take photographs to support graphic design projects and edit them using Adobe editing software. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight. You will also need to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to write in military format when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide graphics, communications, and visual media services.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn new skills and technology tools.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Muse, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and InDesign.
  • Excellent working knowledge of social media metrics and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to write in military format when necessary.
