About The Position
At Great Wolf, the Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the overall atmosphere of the Lodge, ensuring that it meets or exceeds both Great Wolf and guest standards. This position involves cleaning and maintaining the common areas of the resort, which is essential for providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests. The Attendant is responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing public spaces such as floors, carpets, restrooms, the waterpark area, elevators, windows, and doors. Attention to detail is crucial, as the cleanliness of these areas directly impacts guest satisfaction. In addition to cleaning duties, the Public Area Attendant is expected to ensure that elevator areas are free of debris and to empty waste receptacles in common areas regularly. The role also requires reading and comprehending material safety data sheets for all cleaning chemicals and using them according to the provided directions. Reporting maintenance issues in public areas is another important responsibility, as is operating the trash compactor and cardboard baler. The Attendant must communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner, delivering items to guestrooms as requested and returning them to storage as necessary.
