About the position

The Public Area Attendant at Great Wolf Lodge plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the resort. This position involves cleaning and maintaining common areas to meet the high standards of Great Wolf and its guests. The role offers flexible scheduling options and opportunities for career growth through training and development programs.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums, dusts, and cleans public areas including floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark area, elevators, windows, and doors.
• Ensures elevator areas are free of debris.
• Empties waste receptacles in common areas.
• Reads and comprehends material safety data sheets for all chemicals and uses them according to directions.
• Reports maintenance issues in public areas.
• Operates trash compactor and cardboard baler.
• Communicates with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Delivers items to guestrooms as requested and returns them to storage as necessary.
• Assists with guestroom cleaning as needed.

Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with the handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous housekeeping or general cleaning experience.
