About The Position

The Public Area Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and responding to guest requests to enhance their experience. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding guest service and contributing to the hotel's financial profitability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and cleaning/waxing floors.
  • Empty carts of soiled linens, remove and dispose of trash, insects, and debris, and empty ashtrays.
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner and assist with guest requests.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed, such as mattress flipping and furniture moves.
  • Clean late-checkout guestrooms as assigned.
