Responsibilities

  • Develop and help implement campaign strategies and objectives to increase brand awareness and educate the public on the district's work.
  • Manage timelines, tasks, and resources to ensure campaign milestones are met.
  • Monitor campaign budgets and expenses.
  • Research similar entities to ensure timely messaging related to water conservation and the district's mission.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with guidelines.
  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors' activities to inform content strategies.
  • Analyze marketing data, including campaign performance, customer feedback, and market trends, to identify areas of improvement and new opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing marketing activities, results, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in marketing or public relations with experience planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in developing or overseeing the creation of marketing materials.
  • Understanding of branding and messaging practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work as a team to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of marketing outreach strategies and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in using Excel and other project management software.
  • Prior experience working with research firms to guide messaging.
