Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating institutional public health and infection control programs.
- Provide technical assistance to institutional staff in implementing infectious disease control policies and procedures.
- Conduct epidemiological investigations with guidance from the Public Health Branch.
- Ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients in collaboration with the health care team.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary communication to promote continuity of care.
- Address ongoing health care needs of patients and promote efficient use of health care resources.
Requirements
- Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Current certificate as a Public Health Nurse in California.
