Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• License to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
• Background check completion with satisfactory results.

Responsibilities

• Assess immunization status and administer age-appropriate vaccines to clients.
• Counsel and provide information to international travelers regarding immunizations.
• Assist with the orientation, teaching, and supervision of assigned staff.
• Provide skilled nursing care to individuals and families.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and lab work according to standards.
• Assess client needs and follow up with appropriate referrals.
• Participate in case conferences with healthcare professionals and agencies.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies; order vaccines and medical supplies.
• Convey information regarding department policies and functions to community groups.
• Collect and compile daily revenue reports.
