About The Position

The State of Mississippi offers a variety of benefits and opportunities for eligible employees. Employees can participate in the state's health and prescription insurance program, with options for single or family coverage and affordable co-payments. Additionally, there is a wellness and health promotion program that provides annual benefits for certain services with first-dollar coverage and no deductible. Eligible employees also receive a term life insurance policy upon employment, which covers two times their annual salary up to a maximum of $100,000. Tuition reimbursement is available for employees pursuing higher education, and career development and training programs are offered to enhance employee skills. Employees are eligible for promotional opportunities after 6 months of service, and many job classifications provide career-ladder opportunities based on competencies attained.
