About the position

The Public Relations Account Supervisor for Technology PR at Finn Partners is a full-time role based in Atlanta, GA, requiring a hybrid work model. This position is crucial for managing multiple public relations account teams and executing strategic communications campaigns for B2B and B2C technology clients. The supervisor will work closely with partner-level executives and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent public relations account teams and programs with partner-level executives.
  • Develop and execute creative, strategic client public relations programs and campaigns, including budget and KPI tracking.
  • Implement core PR campaigns involving planning, media strategy/pitching, event management, social media, industry analyst relations, content writing/editing, research, and account administration.
  • Execute strong media relations campaigns while mentoring junior staff on storytelling techniques and expert positioning.
  • Secure national, trade, and local media placements by researching and pitching compelling story angles.
  • Draft client-ready documents, strategies, and communications including pitches, bylined articles, blogs, bios, press materials, and meeting reports.
  • Oversee weekly, biweekly, and monthly verbal and written client reporting.
  • Manage and develop assigned account team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations.
  • 4+ years of prior PR agency experience working with B2B or B2C technology clients.
  • Experience with traditional and social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong media relations strategy and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to craft compelling messages that drive business goals and elevate client programs.
  • Skilled writer and editor capable of generating grammatically sound, client-ready communication.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior public relations staff.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including editing skills.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
