About the position

The Public Relations Analyst at Keaki Technologies is responsible for promoting and creating a positive public image for government clients. This role involves managing various communication projects, providing social media expertise, and supporting corporate communications and public affairs initiatives. The position requires strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote or create an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations to support the Government.
• Write or recommend material for release to various communications media to support the Government.
• Provide social media expertise.
• Organize and schedule conferences and events.
• Provide corporate communications and public affairs support for the assigned Government organization.
• Develop and recommend communications strategies for the assigned Government organization.
• Prepare, update, maintain, and implement communication plans proactively in accordance with standards and best practices.
• Prepare, update, maintain, and implement media relations plans as directed by the Government.
• Coordinate media relations with the designated PAO or designated Government Lead.
• Provide support for publications, electronic media, and public websites for the assigned Government organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years' experience (or Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience).
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, and Outlook.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Publisher and web conferencing (e.g. Zoom and WebEx).
• Pre-production video skills.
