About the position

As a Public Relations and Social Media Specialist at Dix & Eaton, you will play a crucial role in enhancing clients' reputations through strategic communication initiatives, particularly in social media. Responsibilities

• Build, protect and enhance clients' reputations through social media activities.
• Manage multiple projects for various clients from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Develop processes for measuring social media program efforts.
• Stay updated on social media trends and advise colleagues and clients accordingly.
• Develop and manage client budgets, coordinating with finance on billing and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Five plus years of experience in communications, preferably in journalism, nonprofit, or agency settings.
• Experience with paid social ads on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok.
• Proficiency in digital and social media management tools such as Google Analytics, Meltwater, and Sprout Social.
• Ability to analyze and report on social media metrics.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for high-quality communications content.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external teams.
• Proven ability to build and implement social media programs, both organic and paid.
• Understanding of key client information including business strategy and industry trends.
