About the position

The Public Relations Assistant and Junior Social Media Manager will support the public relations team in daily operations and contribute to various public relations activities at a stable and growing company in Doral. This role requires a proactive individual with a background in public relations, communications, or journalism, who possesses strong writing and organizational skills, and is adaptable to different personalities and work environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist account coordinators and managers with production and detail work for various accounts.
  • Conduct research and maintain media lists and editorial calendars.
  • Manage databases and create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Maintain photo files and assemble press kits for distribution.
  • Supervise production and manage job trafficking.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as shipping samples, filing, copying, and making phone calls.
  • Research using web-based tools and analyze data into strategic reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or journalism.
  • Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various temperaments and personalities.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to complete projects accurately and on time.
  • Some marketing, social media, or brand management experience, ideally in the food and beverages industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both native language and English.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask and work independently.
