As the Public Relations + Communications Manager for Joanna Czech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public image and communication strategies of the brand. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage press and influencer relationships, contribute to brand strategy, and oversee events and social media initiatives. With the recent launch of Joanna Czech Skincare, the company is poised for rapid growth, and you will be at the forefront of this exciting journey. Your responsibilities will include weekly outreach to both local and national media to secure coverage, as well as conducting daily searches for media hits to monitor the brand's presence in the press. You will facilitate photoshoots, virtual events, and content filming as needed, ensuring that all press requests are handled efficiently and professionally, collaborating closely with Joanna and the JC Estheticians. In addition to media relations, you will assist in setting up events, which may require travel, and compile and share quarterly media and social media reports with the team. Your role will also involve maintaining and updating the content plan on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring that all photography and videography is current for the website and social channels. You will attend creative, digital marketing, and inventory calls with the team and third-party agencies, and manage the JC Commission Junction balance along with new affiliate links. Seeking local photographers for product and lifestyle photoshoots at the Dallas HQ will also be part of your responsibilities. You will update and manage the weekly homepage changes of JoannaCzech.com, upload blog posts and new press releases in Shopify, and create newsletters in collaboration with the digital team. Additionally, you will own and update the weekly meeting workstream for the JC team, ensuring that all tasks are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
