About the position

As the Public Relations & Content Manager at Wyffels Hybrids, you will manage media relations, create compelling content, and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels related to the Wyffels brand. This role acts as a crucial link between strategic direction and tactical execution, providing strategic input and translating direction into successful execution. You will oversee and guide team members on larger-scale projects, although this position has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage media relations and create compelling content for various platforms.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels related to the Wyffels brand.
  • Develop in-depth expertise in the Wyffels Hybrids brand to effectively communicate its identity.
  • Lead content creation efforts, including training materials, sales collateral, and social media content.
  • Enforce brand standards across the organization to maintain a unified voice and messaging.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and provide strategic communication recommendations.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that supports annual marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with brand and product teams to develop resonant content.
  • Write, edit, proofread, and publish engaging content that reflects the Wyffels Hybrids brand.
  • Design and implement media relations strategies for high-profile placements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all public relations activities.
  • Build and leverage relationships with key media contacts.
  • Craft press releases and articles to enhance brand visibility.
  • Regularly update supervisors with progress reports on communication efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze earned media coverage to assess effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with advertising creative and media.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of digital and online development fundamentals.
  • Professional writing skills are needed.
  • Video editing experience with knowledge of editing platforms is a plus.
  • Agricultural background preferred.
