The manager will also identify, track, and secure thought leadership, speaking, and award opportunities for executives, as well as assist in creating and deploying executive communications. Analyzing earned media coverage and drafting appropriate responses will be essential, as will collaborating with external agency partners. The manager will work closely with social media, brand, and marketing teams to create an editorial content calendar and organize promotional events like press tours and conferences. Additionally, they will represent the organization at interviews, events, and press conferences, ensuring that messages resonate with diverse audiences. In terms of crisis communications, the manager will coordinate crisis management communications as necessary, maintain crisis response playbooks, and actively participate in internal and external crisis communication scenarios. This multifaceted role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively manage the organization's public image and internal messaging.
