About the position

The Santa Margarita Water District is seeking a creative and dynamic Public Relations Manager to lead our communication initiatives and enhance our public image. This hybrid role involves managing the District's brand across various digital and print channels, as well as engaging with the community through events and local government affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting innovative campaigns that elevate brand awareness and foster community connections. This position requires a strong background in writing and digital communications, as well as the ability to develop key performance indicators to drive decision-making based on data analysis. In this role, you will be tasked with writing content for a variety of platforms, including the District's website, reports, newsletters, and presentations. You will work closely with the Director of Communications & Customer Engagement to coordinate and integrate public relations initiatives that maintain and enhance the image of the Santa Margarita Water District. Your storytelling skills will be crucial in shaping our narrative and engaging with the community effectively.
