About the position
The Public Relations Manager/Public Information Officer (PIO) role is focused on supporting the Director of Digital Communications and Design in creating graphic design materials for the Department. This includes developing digital and print collateral, event invitations, reports, and web/social graphics, while ensuring alignment with the Department's brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Digital Communications and Design with graphic design needs.
- Create digital and print collateral materials including event invites and Department reports.
- Develop data visualizations and web/social graphics.
- Assist with the design and development of new templates and assets in line with the Department's brand identity.
- Help transition existing assets to the new branding.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign).
- Experience with Acrobat Pro and designing fillable forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Publishing, PowerPoint).
- Web design and basic HTML coding experience is a plus.
- Experience working with a CMS, particularly Drupal and SharePoint.
