About the position

The Public Relations Manager at EverBank N.A. is responsible for overseeing the development of organizational communications aimed at various stakeholders, including the public, customers, employees, and government agencies. This role involves managing large projects with minimal supervision, collaborating with different business units to plan marketing initiatives, and creating strategies to enhance public relations opportunities that align with the bank's multi-channel marketing strategies. The position also entails generating and distributing original content to external media outlets.

Responsibilities

• Review the writing, editing, and publishing of the company's organizational publications.
• Ensure consistency of messages across all divisions and levels of the enterprise by reviewing strategies for organizational initiatives.
• Develop communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its services.
• Monitor external media relations and build rapport to present a positive image of the organization to external sources.
• Review external communications to ensure the accuracy of the information.
• Coach and delegate work to lower-level communications professionals to ensure high-quality and timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• University degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience required; 7+ years preferred.
