Ignite Visibility is an award-winning and fast-growing digital marketing agency located in San Diego, CA. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations strategies that build brand awareness, enhance our reputation, and drive positive media coverage across both traditional and digital channels for Ignite Visibility. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on client success and career development, with the flexibility of a fully remote workforce and optional access to our San Diego office. As a Public Relations Manager, you will develop and implement strategic public relations plans that align with Ignite Visibility's overall business objectives. You will prospect and vet media lists to conduct extensive outreach, manage media relations by pitching stories, securing placements in relevant media outlets, and building strong relationships with journalists and influencers. Your role will also involve crafting compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials, overseeing the development and execution of social media campaigns, and monitoring and analyzing media coverage, brand sentiment, and online reputation. Additionally, you will report monthly KPIs for traditional and online media coverage, manage and support internal communications initiatives, proactively identify and capitalize on emerging PR opportunities, and contribute to crisis communication planning and execution when applicable. You will also manage a budget for PR activities and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness of your strategies.
