About the position

The Public Relations Manager at Agave & Rye (Epic Brands) is responsible for leading the PR team and developing effective publicity strategies to enhance the brand's image and community engagement. This role requires a polished and charismatic individual who can leverage media connections and storytelling skills to amplify the brand's mission and values. The manager will oversee crisis management, media relations, and event planning, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the PR team, reflecting the values of kindness, authenticity, and hospitality.
• Design and execute publicity strategies that highlight the brand's unique offerings and community involvement.
• Develop and implement a proactive crisis management plan to maintain a positive brand reputation.
• Write, edit, and approve press releases and communications that showcase the brand's story.
• Build and maintain relationships with media personnel and influencers.
• Create and manage a comprehensive PR plan, including budgets and performance metrics.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, crafting responses to reinforce positive press.
• Collaborate with the social media team to develop a content calendar that aligns with PR goals.
• Organize and execute media-focused events to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in public relations, ideally within the hospitality, food, or lifestyle sectors.
• Established media relationships and expertise in media relations.
