About the position

INNOCEAN USA is seeking a Public Relations Manager to support the Director of Public Relations in a hybrid work environment. This role involves working with various clients across multiple industries, focusing on corporate storytelling and executive profile building. The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations or corporate communications, particularly in an agency setting, and will be responsible for managing media relations, preparing press materials, and tracking media coverage.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings with attention to detail.
• Centralizing and managing account assets and press materials, including digital press kits and media lists.
• Preparing client meeting agendas and taking comprehensive notes.
• Tracking daily media coverage using media monitoring tools.
• Generating press reports for internal and external distribution.
• Drafting client press opportunity briefing sheets and itineraries for review.
• Understanding paid social media and content creation for brands.
• Conducting industry and client research as instructed by account leads.
• Staying informed of advertising/marketing industry news and trends.
• Joining internal brainstorms and contributing proactively.
• Drafting simple pitches and engaging in pitching.
• Facilitating phone and in-person interviews between clients and media.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or advertising.
• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger for learning and a collaborative working style.
• Ability to manage up by anticipating team/account needs and providing clear updates.
• Genuine interest in the advertising and marketing industry and media landscape.
• Efficient multitasking across multiple projects and communication channels.
