The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic public relations programs to enhance the company's growth. This full-time position requires a skilled individual who can effectively manage media relations and advocate for senior leadership, while working in a hybrid environment in Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public relations programs
• Identify and cultivate story opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets
• Write press releases, articles, and pitch story ideas to media contacts
• Plan and manage press tours, conferences, and events
• Lead multiple concurrent projects effectively
• Serve as a media advocate for senior leaders

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in public relations or related field
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• C-Suite facing ability, comfortable presenting to executives and leadership teams
• National experience and experience working with large media partners/distribution
