About the position

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Public Relations Manager to work at a facility in New York, NY. This position is part of our registry and offers a pay rate of $35 per hour. The role is designed to support the Director of Digital Communications and Design with various graphic design needs across the Department. The individual in this position will be responsible for creating both digital and print collateral materials, which include event invitations, departmental reports that incorporate data visualization, and graphics for web and social media platforms. Additionally, the Public Relations Manager will assist in the design and development of new templates and assets that align with the Department's brand identity. A key responsibility will also involve aiding in the transition of existing assets to the new branding, ensuring consistency and quality across all materials.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Digital Communications and Design with graphic design needs across the Department.
• Create digital and print collateral materials including event invites and Department reports.
• Incorporate data visualization into departmental reports.
• Design graphics for web and social media platforms.
• Assist with the design and development of new templates and assets in line with the Department's brand identity.
• Aid in the transition of existing assets to the new branding.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign.
• Experience with Acrobat Pro and designing fillable forms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite for administrative duties and design, particularly Word, Publishing, and PowerPoint.
• Web design and basic HTML coding experience is a plus.
• Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS), particularly Drupal for websites and SharePoint for Intranets is also a plus.
