About the position

The Public Relations Manager at INK PR is a full-time remote role focused on managing client accounts within the interior design and architecture industry. The position involves developing and implementing PR strategies, generating media coverage, and building relationships with media outlets and designers. Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and develop PR strategies
• Generate media coverage and build relationships with media outlets
• Write press releases and other PR materials
• Coordinate events and initiatives
• Support the CEO and team on all accounts and activities
• Conduct top-level media relations
• Manage internal and external communications needs, status, and reporting
• Support company and client's social media channels
• Meet all deadlines
• Independently execute on various tasks for each client

Requirements

• 3 years of full-time agency or in-house experience in the lifestyle and/or interior design/architecture industry
• Knowledge of and passion for the interior design and architecture industry
• Autonomous worker and self-starter who doesn't need micromanaging
• Fast and detailed worker with a quick pace
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and extremely organized
• Articulate and accustomed to a client-facing role
• Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media outlets and design influencers
• Knowledge of PR strategies and tactics
• Experience with media outreach and pitching
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
