The Public Relations/Marketing Specialist at Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc. will play a pivotal role in developing, facilitating, and implementing communication programs that align with the strategic objectives of the Mulzer Family of Companies. This position is essential for designing, developing, and producing communication tools that cater to both internal and external audiences. The specialist will be responsible for driving strategies related to various aspects of communication, including community relations, university relations, customer relations, crisis management, media engagement, and special events. Additionally, the role will support digital marketing initiatives and special projects, including video production for both internal and external activities of the company. In this role, the specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide necessary communication support for identified projects. This includes conceptualizing, writing, editing, and producing customized communication plans and marketing materials. The specialist will also assist in creating promotional materials for recruiting and marketing initiatives, manage community programs and campaigns, and handle sponsorship and donation requests. Furthermore, the individual will manage external vendors to complete projects and maintain current programs, ensuring that the company stays up to date on industry trends and makes recommendations for adjustments to communication strategies and practices. The Public Relations/Marketing Specialist will be responsible for writing copy for various internal and external communications, working closely with line of business leaders to obtain coverage of company projects, and ensuring the planning and execution of internal communications related to organizational changes. The role also involves partnering with leaders and HR on promotions, recruiting, marketing, and new employee communications content, while ensuring compliance with all logo and brand applications in collaboration with the corporate marketing liaison.
