About the position

The International Automotive company is seeking a dynamic and proactive Community Manager to join their team in The Woodlands, Texas. This position is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location while primarily focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, industry partners, and other stakeholders. The Community Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and engaged community around the company's products, services, and brand. In this role, the Community Manager will be responsible for customer engagement, interacting with customers through various channels to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction. They will develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at attracting and retaining customers, which will include promotions, advertising, and social media campaigns. Analyzing customer feedback and sales data will be essential to identify trends and areas for improvement. The Community Manager will also generate relevant content for the company's social media, focusing on topics related to the electroplating industry, such as best practices, technology updates, and case studies. Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics will be a key responsibility, allowing the Community Manager to optimize strategies and content effectively. They will serve as the primary contact for the community, addressing inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally. Additionally, moderating online platforms to ensure respectful interactions and helping professionals stay informed about advancements in electroplating will be part of their duties. Organizing events to facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing within the electroplating community will also be a significant aspect of this role. Collaboration across teams to gather community insights will shape future initiatives and product improvements, while staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities will help identify growth opportunities for the community. Finally, analyzing performance metrics will allow the Community Manager to evaluate community initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in community management (manufacturing industry).
  • Excellent communication skills (SPANISH & ENGLISH), both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and interact with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, community platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
