About the position

SherlockTalent is searching for a talented Public Relations Account Executive to join a vibrant and fast-paced team in Miami. This position offers the opportunity to lead media accounts with a focus on content strategy, creation, and distribution, as well as social management and strategy. The ideal candidate will also engage in data-driven reporting and analysis, ensuring that all communications are effective and impactful. This role is perfect for a great communicator with a dynamic personality who can convey energy and passion both over the phone and in person. In this position, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with media, influencers, and partners while pursuing media opportunities. You will work under tight media deadlines and manage the demands and pressures of both the team and clients. The role requires an approachable, friendly, and empathetic individual who can relate to people at various levels within the agency, with clients, and with the media. You will need to work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality, generating media attention through distinctive and creative stories. Additionally, you will research data for every project, understanding the data and targeting necessary for effective campaigns. Developing creative recommendations for clients, building media and influencer lists, and researching editorial calendars and new outlets will be key components of your responsibilities. You will also report through daily communications, monthly performance updates, and quarterly analysis, all while maintaining a high attention to detail and developing comprehensive communication plans and storylines.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant PR or marketing experience in US market agency environment
  • Understanding of product launches
  • Understanding of brand storytelling
  • Understanding of media and influencer relations strategies
  • Understanding of digital/new media marketing strategies
  • Understanding of consumer technology
  • Expert in persuasive writing and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
