About the position
The Public Relations Specialist - Communication Synchronization at Celestar Corporation will support the CENTCOM Headquarters IDIQ for Professional Services, primarily located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. This role involves developing and synchronizing communication strategies and plans, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring alignment of communication efforts across various military and governmental entities. The position requires an active Secret Security Clearance and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise on the development and synchronization of communication strategies and plans.
- Offer subject matter expertise input during the drafting of Key Leader Engagement (KLE) policies.
- Design KLE management tools and manage data within these tools, including KLE data and strategic messaging content.
- Support the development of communication initiatives or strategies, including themes, narratives, and key audience identification.
- Track key themes and messages from USG leaders to synchronize communication efforts with USG strategic messaging.
- Provide expertise on methodologies for unifying communications efforts between USCENTCOM and other commands.
- Integrate communication plans, operations, and assessments across Public Affairs, Information Operations, and Key Leader Engagement.
- Coordinate with USCENTCOM directorates to align communication efforts in support of designated plans.
- Develop and deliver effective oral and written presentations to senior leaders.
- Update Annex Y: Commander's Communication Strategy for CONPLANs, OPLANs, and OPORDs.
- Coordinate FOIAs and MDRs according to legal standards, ensuring proper safeguarding of plans and orders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of planning experience in Public Affairs, Information Operations, Key Leader Engagements, or Civil Affairs.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong communication skills.
