About the position

The Public Relations Specialist at JS Merchant Solution Inc. is responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive public image for the company within the Korean community. This role involves engaging with approximately 1000 Korean customers through various communication channels, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services.

Responsibilities

  • Promote or create an intended public image for Korean customers using social media platforms such as Kakao Talk, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Maintain working relationships with about 1000 Korean customers and their accounts.
  • Update customers with new and relevant information about the company.
  • Build a professional and personal network of about 1000 current and potential Korean customers.
  • Promote the company's reputation among Korean customers.
  • Promptly answer questions from merchants via phone and email 24/7.
  • Resolve complaints and conflicts from merchants by assisting them with their needs.
  • Source and redirect merchants to technical support for further assistance.
  • Coordinate and edit a manual for resolving conflicts with merchants for employee reference.
  • Keep daily databases of each complaint call and email.
  • Conduct site visits for follow-up with unsatisfied merchants.
  • Provide translation services between banks, processors, and merchants to overcome language barriers.
  • Inform employees of any urgent calls from merchants 24/7.
  • Notify merchants of any chargebacks in their accounts and assist with correspondence to protect their assets.
  • Install and maintain POS systems and computer networks for merchants.

Requirements

  • Fluency in the Korean language is required to effectively communicate with customers and resolve issues.
  • Experience in public relations or customer service, particularly within the Korean community, is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with social media marketing and management.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and technical support processes.
