About the position

The Public Relations Specialist at Codinix Technologies is responsible for engaging with community members to promote health resources and reduce barriers to vaccination. This role requires effective communication and outreach to diverse populations, particularly focusing on seniors and expecting mothers, while ensuring the use of approved materials during field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and helps to reduce cultural and structural barriers to vaccination.
• Proactively engage community members during field assignments by sharing resources relevant to their needs (Seniors, expecting mothers, etc.).
• Proficiently communicate health resources to community members (e.g., vaccine literature, respiratory viruses, MPOX, cancer screenings, etc.) per client guidelines.
• Guide community members looking for health services to their individual LHDs, CBOs, and FQHCs based on their county of residence.
• Ensures usage of up-to-date and approved outreach materials during field assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in related roles in community outreach, direct customer service, community engagement, social services, or health education.
• Effective communicator across racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Availability to work a 7-hour shift between 8am and 8pm including Tuesday through Saturday.

• Bilingual (written and/or verbal) in English and Spanish.

Benefits

• Contract position with a pay rate of $35.25 per hour.
