About the position

The Public Relations Specialist at Robert Half is responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies for B2B clients, including media outreach and social media management. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in media pitching, content creation, and crisis communication, aimed at enhancing the company's public image and engagement across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR strategies, including press releases, media pitches, and media outreach
  • Monitor media coverage and respond to media inquiries
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Write compelling blog posts, articles, and other content for our website and social media channels
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content calendars
  • Monitor for potential crises and develop crisis communication plans
  • Respond to crises promptly and professionally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in PR and social media
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing
