About The Position
The UC Irvine Police Department provides public safety and law enforcement services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the UCI Irvine campus and properties, and the UCI Health Network. The Police Department's Health Division uses a hybrid model that includes various public safety roles working together to safeguard the lives and property of the University and its patients, visitors, faculty, staff, and students. Public Safety Supervisors supervise a shift or team of Public Safety members tasked with providing both patient-facing and non-patient-facing roles and responsibilities. They are expected to conduct themselves professionally and ethically while enforcing policies and procedures, exhibiting a standard of excellence based on the department's core values of commitment to community, accountability, respect, and employee wellness (CARE).
