Public Space Attendant-Housekeeping-Part Time

About the position

The Public Space Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas across the Pinehurst Resort. This part-time role emphasizes genuine hospitality and adherence to company values while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and members. The position requires driving a company vehicle and performing various cleaning tasks to uphold the resort's standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public space areas across the resort.
• Drive a company vehicle while adhering to safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Clean carpets in lobbies, hallways, stairways, and other assigned areas.
• Dust furniture, moldings, ledges, and fixtures; wash as necessary.
• Wipe windows and mirrors when necessary.
• Dust or wash floors, door frames, and polish brass hardware on doors.
• Clean ash urns and ashtrays; remove trash from containers.
• Clean public and personnel bathrooms; resupply amenities.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including patios and porches, and organize outdoor furniture.
• Vacuum and dust in the dining room and lounge.
• Maintain swimming pool restrooms and towel supply during the season.
• Clean and restock attendant carts at the end of the shift.
• Assist with bed making and turn downs when requested.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds.
