About the position

The Director of Strategy at Publicis CoLab is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that drive brand development and marketing strategies for clients. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior and digital interactions, enabling the creation of actionable insights and recommendations. The Director will oversee strategic work streams, manage client relationships, and guide internal teams to deliver high-quality analysis and creative solutions that address client challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong client relationships as a key strategic and business partner.
  • Guide the strategic direction with internal and external teams in relation to clients' brand development and marketing approach.
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges, threats, and opportunities.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of clients' customers' wants, needs, and behaviors across the full customer journey.
  • Formulate strategic recommendations for brand positioning, marketing strategy, and digital engagement strategy.
  • Develop POVs for colleagues and clients around business-critical issues and trends.
  • Create inspiring creative and execution briefs.
  • Facilitate internal brainstorms and client workshops.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing clients.
  • Partner with clients on market research activities.
  • Oversee the development of measurement plans and derive meaningful insights from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of junior team members.
  • Manage complex projects independently and successfully.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for efficiencies in working relationships and processes.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar agency environment.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, including both HCP and consumer.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to simplify and clarify complex concepts.
  • Structured problem-solving approach to address complex strategic issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to immerse deeply in clients' business on both commercial and clinical levels.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships based on deep immersion in their business.
  • Familiarity with relevant digital channels (e.g., web, mobile, CRM, social media, search).
