About the position

As a Publicist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' visibility and reputation through strategic communication efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers.
• Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials.
• Conduct thorough research to identify media opportunities and trends relevant to clients' industries.
• Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content that aligns with PR initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Proofread and edit all communications to ensure clarity, style consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with public relations strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in public relations, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of media relations and the ability to pitch stories effectively.
• Excellent writing and speaking skills with a keen eye for detail in editing and proofreading.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies.
• Ability to conduct research efficiently to support PR initiatives.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about marketing opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Canva are a plus.
