About the position
The Pump Repair Technician is responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of various types of pumps and rotating equipment. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. The technician will handle troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs, contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of the equipment.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, installs, and removes a variety of centrifugal, submersible, water injection, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, and other related rotating equipment.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs all rotating equipment in a cost-effective manner and within spending thresholds.
- Builds new and repairs reciprocating Bottom Hole Pumps.
- Handles pump removals and installations.
- Rebuilds pumps in the field.
- Conducts new base installations and new equipment startups.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior pump servicing and repair experience required.
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and promote a 'safety first' attitude.
