About the position

The Purchasing Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of procurement activities within the organization. This position involves developing and managing the budget for procurement, forecasting financial needs, and managing cash flow related to purchasing. The successful candidate will analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable financial outcomes. Additionally, the Purchasing Accounting Manager will implement strategies aimed at reducing procurement costs while building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness. In this role, the Purchasing Accounting Manager will also be responsible for performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, preparing invoices, and ensuring that all financial transactions related to purchasing are accurately recorded and reported. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and will have a proven track record in managing procurement budgets and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the budget for procurement activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with having direct communication with vendors and suppliers.
  • Available to start immediately.
