About the position

The Purchasing and Estimating Administrator at TRC Talent Solutions is responsible for managing the estimating program, updating vendor bids, assisting in cost establishment for new products, and facilitating communication between vendors and builders to ensure accurate purchase order releases. This role is essential for supporting the team in the Charlotte office and involves a variety of tasks related to purchasing and estimating within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review bid documents and record all proposals
  • Assist with the preparation for using bids with the proper documentation (such as bid bonds, bid forms, etc.)
  • Create strategies and maintain bid software programs
  • Assist in pricing change requests/service work as needed
  • Maintain and establish strong relations with Vendor/Suppliers

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related work experience in construction Purchasing and/or Estimating
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well with others and independently
