About the position

The Purchasing and Logistics Manager at Randstad General Staffing will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of procurement and logistics operations within the West Palm Beach to Deerfield Beach area. This position is essential for ensuring that the company maintains efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. They will also coordinate logistics operations, which include shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of goods to meet the company's needs. In addition to vendor management and logistics coordination, the Purchasing and Logistics Manager will monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess and obsolete stock. Analyzing supply chain data to identify areas for process improvements will be a key responsibility, as will collaborating with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure that products are delivered on time. The role will also involve preparing and presenting reports on procurement and logistics activities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in purchasing and logistics, with excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail. This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
