About the position

The Purchasing and Materials Specialist - Plumbing Project Coordinator Assistant at D&F Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is responsible for managing procurement and project coordination. Responsibilities

  • Work with project managers and technicians to solve issues in real-time.
  • Track tool check-ins and check-outs to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Audit purchases to keep operations on track.
  • Analyze purchasing trends to inform decision-making.
  • Organize stock in collaboration with warehouse staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in purchasing, especially in plumbing or construction materials.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Great attention to detail.
