About the position

The Purchasing and Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in managing purchasing, receiving, and warehouse operations. This part-time position involves working closely with the Field Operations Manager and the Client Success Coordinator to ensure that necessary products are ordered and available for ongoing projects. The associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, as well as managing vendor relationships and handling product returns.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing select products required for upcoming and ongoing projects.
• Following up on orders to track estimated arrival times (ETAs).
• Receiving ordered products and documenting their arrival.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and staging areas.
• Managing vendor relationships and handling shipment disputes effectively.
• Assisting the Production Team as needed.
• Ensuring all products are ready for deployment the day prior.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and office.
• Forecasting product needs based on upcoming projects on a 10-business day cycle.
• Coordinating recycling needs for faulty equipment and recyclables.
• Communicating with personnel to determine project needs.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels for quick turnaround projects.
• Completing the product pick list post-purchasing and pre-deployment.
• Processing vendor product returns.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse/operations positions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Strong relationship management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Mental capacity to handle deadlines.
• Ability to work on your feet 50-70% of the day.
• Capability to lift up to 100-pound items as needed.
