Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting Buyers with the timely and cost efficient purchase and delivery of all food and beverage goods and casino supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent guest service at all time.
* Able to assist the Buyers in all aspects of the purchasing operation.
* Work closely with the receiving and inventory staff to ensure orders are coming in correctly.
* Prepare and process purchase orders to comply with established purchasing procedures and maintains appropriate files.
* Adheres to the approved vendor lists.
* Process New Vendor Licensing forms and works with TGC to ensure the accuracy and completeness of paperwork and maintains appropriate files.
* Process all office supply orders
* Maintain records of Asset Disposal forms.
* Maintains number form log
* Ensures that all purchase requests have been approved in accordance with authorized approval levels.
* Ensures that all purchase terms and discounts are adhered to.
* Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.
* Performs any reasonable request made by management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of one-year experience in purchasing food and beverage preferred
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate with proficiency in appropriate software such as Micro Soft Office, Excel, Outlook and MMS. Must be familiar with food and beverage terminology.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

The Team Member is occasionally exposed to extreme cold when going into the freezer or cold box. The noise level in the work environment can vary from moderate to very loud when on the Casino Floor or in the Warehousing Operations. When on the casino floor, Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
