About the position

In this role, you will work closely with assigned department associates, both in the field and in the office, to ensure BuildPro schedules, integration, and processes are performing smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate with assigned trade partners to identify potential training and/or process issues and work with the responsible parties to ensure that discovered items, which can be a Trade Partner misuse, company misuse, and/or systematic, are handled in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include reviewing system and error reports daily to ensure there are no integration issues, assisting the team with ongoing training sessions offered to Neal Communities and trade partners, and elevating questions, concerns, and systematic issues to IT for review and resolution. You will provide accurate and timely support to the Construction, Purchasing, Design, and Sales departments for BuildPro and NewStar systems, set up Trade Partners in Hyphen Solutions, and maintain BuildPro templates for new and existing communities. Additionally, you will assist in testing, upgrading, and implementing existing applications and new phases of existing applications, train new business users and peers, develop and deliver progress reports and application documentation, and create best practices and tools for application execution and support.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate questions and concerns to IT for resolution.
  • Provide support to Construction, Purchasing, Design, and Sales departments for BuildPro and NewStar systems.
  • Set up Trade Partners in Hyphen Solutions.
  • Maintain BuildPro templates for new and existing communities.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and IT to ensure correct information in the system.
  • Assist in testing, upgrading, and implementing applications.
  • Train new business users and peers on application use.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and application documentation.
  • Create best practices and tools for application execution and support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing Systems Administration required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level required; advanced proficiency preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with NewStar and BuildPro required.
  • Ability to collaborate well with a team and take direction from supervisors.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize performance measures and drive cost savings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and prioritize work to meet objectives and deadlines.
