About the position

The Inventory Specialist will oversee inventory management and maintain warehouse organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate logistics to meet customer and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all warehouse activities.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to fulfill orders and meet customer delivery requirements.
• Implement and maintain warehouse best practices, procedures, and standards for quality control.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software to track inventory movement and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license required.
• 5-8 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to resolve issues and improve warehouse operations.
