About the position
The Purchaser (Commercial) role at KEP Electric involves leading procurement initiatives for high-value contracts in the commercial electrical sector. Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies that align with company goals and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Manage purchase orders and negotiate pricing.
- Monitor lead times to keep projects on track.
- Review and verify quotes with project teams.
- Oversee material sourcing from order placement to delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards across all procurement activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Purchasing, ideally in construction or commercial electrical projects.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with purchasing software is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction materials, including lighting, wiring, PVC, and gear.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in high-volume purchasing tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
