Responsibilities

  • Identifying and evaluating suppliers & subcontractors.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms of agreement.
  • Ensuring supplier compliance to contractual requirements at the lowest price without sacrificing quality or delivery time.
  • Collaborating with Estimators and Project Managers to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Checking for discrepancies in invoices, inspecting materials for shortages, damaged goods, and material quality.
  • Collaborating with the legal department to ensure contract compliance and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor evaluation, contract management in the construction industry.
  • Heavy Civil/Structural experience required.
