About the position

The Purchasing Manager at Exoticapedia LLC is responsible for overseeing the procurement of food and beverage products, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strong background in the culinary field and experience in purchasing, particularly within the food and beverage industry. The Purchasing Manager will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain inventory levels and manage purchasing processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of food and beverage products.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to understand product requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage purchasing.
• Culinary background required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Familiarity with POS systems and labeling systems.
• ServeSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Allergen Awareness training or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Alcohol Awareness training or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Math/Calculation proficiency.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Catering experience preferred.
