About the position

The Purchasing Manager (Master Scheduling) at B. Braun Medical is responsible for overseeing supply chain management concepts within a global business environment. This role involves supervising scheduling staff, facilitating the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure effective balance between supply and demand. The position also includes coaching and developing team members, collaborating with R&D and Engineering, and optimizing ERP system utilization to meet operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of scheduling staff and facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Balance supply and demand as specified by S&OP and oversee the creation and maintenance of a valid Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Manage delivery and inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including customer service levels and production schedule attainment.
• Perform root cause analysis for variances and propose corrective actions.
• Manage activities of Schedulers and Detailed Schedulers, including coaching, employee development, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to reflect changing project timelines into the MPS.
• Continuously optimize ERP system utilization and monitor operational KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6-8 years of related experience required.
• Applicable industry/professional certification required.
